Careers Fair

The annual STEM & Business Careers Fair returns with us on Thursday 10th October.

This event gives final and penultimate year students from all areas the opportunity to talk to representatives from a wide range of companies, voluntary groups, educational establishments and professional organisations.

Representatives will be pleased to answer any questions about careers and employment prospects.

There is no need to sign up, the event runs 11am-3.30pm.

Colour Run

The Heriot Watt University Colour Run is back for 2019! The fun, family colourful race will begin at Oriam on Sunday 20th October.

A 5km fun run around the Heriot Watt University campus with colour paint stations along the route. This is a fun, family friendly event.

An opportunity to check out the wonderful campus whilst getting fit, having a laugh and raising funds for SANE, a fantastic mental health charity. The run is designed for all fitness levels with plenty of colourful surprises along the way.

Scottish Handball

On the 5th and 6th October Livingston HC will host two European Handball Federation Challenge cup matches versus Finnish Handball team Dicken.

These will be the first European Club Handball matches in Scotland for over 20 years.

Match 1 – Dicken vs Livingston HC – Saturday 5th October – Throw Off 1700

Match 2 – Livingston HC vs Dicken – Sunday 6th October – Throw Off 14.00

Livingston HC qualified in the European competition for the second year in a row following a successful season in which they were the Scottish cup winners and took third position in the British play-offs.

It would be great to get as many people along as possible and show your support.
