Member Newsletter – July
|NEWS
It has been a busy few months here at Oriam and it has been fantastic to see so many new and familiar faces returning to enjoy sport and fitness with us. Our summer of sport is now in full-swing and we have so much to look forward to in the next few months.
We had hoped to reach level 0 by now however we are doing everything we can within the current level 2 guidelines. We look forward to gradually adding more activities and services soon as the restrictions ease from the 19th July.
To keep up to date with the latest facility information you can follow our social media channels @oriamscotland or check out our FAQ page under the ‘About Us’ tab.
| OUR ORIAM: YOUR FRIENDSHIP
Our members, and our community are one of the things that makes Oriam so unique. We have all persevered with home-workouts, online classes and solo activities over the past year but sport and exercise is just so much better with that personal interaction with instructors and other members.
We asked some of our staff and students about their highlights of returning to Oriam and how fitness has helped their mental wellbeing. Read more here.
If you think someone would benefit from a visit to Oriam, why not refer-a-friend? Take a look at our refer-a-friend page and share it with a buddy so they can claim a 3-day trial pass.
If your buddy joins-up you can both receive a free gift!

EUROS CHALLENGES
In June we followed the highs and lows of our Scottish Football team as they played our first Euros group stage since 1996. The team didn’t make it out of their group this time but we are sure this is only the beginning of great things for this talented squad.
Our Euros Fitness Challenges continue on though, and our team have been putting in the practice for the keepy-up challenge. Check out the noticeboard in the gym for our workout challenges or ask one of our team to record your keepy-uppy scores!
On 22nd June we also welcomed Nicky Campbell and his 5 live team to Oriam for a special pitch-side broadcast. Our very own Ross Campbell and Katrina Gibbon joined the line-up!
