Scottish Student Sport Success
SSS (Scottish Student Sport) hosted two successful football finals at Oriam this month. Find out more about the competition and final results here. If you’ve not heard of SSS before, they are an organisation focussed on sports opportunities for Scottish Universities and Colleges.
Scottish Student Men’s Football Final
On Wednesday 13th April, we witnessed a tense match between Heriot-Watt University and University of Stirling in the Scottish Student Men’s Football Final! Heriot-Watt secured a monumental victory to lift the Queen’s Park Shield. The Shield returns to Heriot-Watt after a 16 year wait! It was a fantastic win at home for the team.

Scottish Student Women’s Football Final
On Wednesday 20th April, SSS returned to Oriam for the Women’s Football Final. The University of St Andrews met The University of Stirling in a gripping match. The winners would lift the newly renamed #SheCanSheWill Cup.
The closely fought match finished overtime in a 0-0 draw. In a nail-biting penalty time, St Andrews clinch a 3-2 victory.
