HYROX is a global fitness race that blends endurance running with functional workout stations to create a consistent, measurable challenge for athletes of all levels. Each event follows the same format worldwide: participants run 1 km followed by one functional exercise, repeating this sequence eight times for a total of 8 km of running and eight workout stations, including movements like the SkiErg, sled push, sled pull, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carry, lunges and wall balls. This standardised structure makes HYROX accessible, competitive, and comparable across cities and countries, attracting both everyday fitness enthusiasts and seasoned athletes looking for a purposeful and engaging test of strength, stamina and resilience.

I coach HYROX because I love seeing people realise their potential. HYROX is for everyone – whether it’s your first class or you’re chasing a PB – and the best part is the community that shows up week after week to graft together. Expect sweaty sessions, good vibes, and plenty of support. I’ll push you when you need it… but I’m also your biggest cheerleader from start to finish.

I completed my first HYROX in March 2024 and I’ve been hooked ever since. It’s now my favourite workout of the week and one of my favourite classes to coach. I’ve raced 3× Female Doubles and 1× Mixed Doubles, with more events booked, HYROX is seriously addictive. In my classes, expect to be challenged but supported. You’ll work hard and you definitely won’t regret it!!

As a coach I love to push people beyond what they feel capable of in classes. Encouraging and preparing people for the race by using the rules in the class setting getting the most out of each session they attend. I love HYROX as it’s a real challenge testing your limits but also maximising both strength and endurance. It’s fun, high energy and an adrenaline rush that keeps you wanting more.
