Adult Learn to Swim – 6 Week Course

Following the success of our student-led Learn to Swim programme, we’re excited to introduce a dedicated 6-week swimming course for adults, designed to help complete beginners and nervous swimmers build confidence, develop essential skills, and feel comfortable in the water.

Tuesday’s 7 – 9pm 28th July, 4th Aug, 11th Aug, 18th Aug, 25th Aug and 1st Sept.
Who is this course for?
This course is ideal for adults who:
- Have little or no previous swimming experience
- Feel nervous or lack confidence in the water
- Want to learn at their own pace in a supportive environment
- Are looking to improve water safety and basic swimming ability
What to expect
Over six weeks, you’ll be guided by experienced instructors in small, supportive groups. Sessions focus on:
- Water confidence and relaxation techniques
- Basic floating and breathing skills
- Introduction to key strokes
- Improving coordination and movement in the water
- Building confidence gradually, week by week
