On Saturday 14th June, Oriam will proudly host its 200th parkrun—a major milestone in our community’s running journey!

Since our very first event, Oriam parkrun has grown into more than just a weekly 5K. Over the past 200 Saturdays, we’ve welcomed an amazing 32,000 runner and been supported by over 700 volunteers. That’s 32,000 finish lines crossed, countless personal bests chased, and a whole lot of high-fives.

A Celebration of Community

Parkrun

This milestone isn’t just about numbers—it’s about people. From first-timers and families to club runners and casual walkers, Oriam parkrun has become a Saturday morning ritual for many. And it’s all made possible by the brilliant volunteers who give their time, energy, and encouragement every week, come rain or shine.

To celebrate our 200th event, we’re inviting everyone—whether you’ve joined us before or not—to come along on 14th June. Expect the usual friendly welcome, a few surprises, and maybe even some cake at the finish line.

Why parkrun Matters

As Scotland’s Sports Performance Centre, Oriam is all about helping people lead active, healthy lives. Parkrun captures that spirit perfectly—free, inclusive, and for everyone, whether you run, walk, jog, or volunteer.

So mark your calendars, bring your friends, and help us make the 200th event the biggest and best yet.

Oriam parkrun – Every Saturday. Free. Timed. Open to all. Join us on June 14th for something special.
