Oriam select take on Back Onside select for charity
On Sunday 8th October, come along and show your support Oriam select football team who take on a Back Onside select team to celebrate the continued partnership on the eve of World Mental Health Day while also raising vital funds for the charity.
Back Onside are a Scottish mental health charity who by partnering with Oriam are helping people’s mental health through the medium of sport.
The match will take place in Oriam’s indoor pitch with a 3pm kick off (spectator access from 2pm). Tickets are priced at £5 per person and available to buy on the day or in advance via following link:
Oriam’s team combines Oriam & Heriot-Watt staff and Heriot-Watt University Football Club players past and present. Most notably Oriam’s Executive Director, Ross Campbell, and current HWUFC Head Football Coach, Banji Koya, will line up for the Oriam select team.
Facing the Oriam squad in the Back Onside team will be ex Rangers duo Kenny Miller and Maurice Ross, ex Hibs due Danny Swanson and James Keatings and ex Aberdeen duo Lee Mair and Richie Byrne, among an array of other ex professional players.
