Bike Bothy at Oriam
Our Bike Bothy is the cycling hub of Heriot-Watt University's Edinburgh Campus and offers a range of services including bicycle hire, repairs and servicing, and bike maintenance classes. Located on Garden Lane, just off the main University Avenue, and near our main reception, the Bike Bothy is a one-stop shop for all your cycling needs.
Bicycle Hire
With several fantastic cycling routes in the vicinity of Oriam and Heriot-Watt University's Edinburgh Campus, our bicycle hire service offers an affordable and active way for you to travel and explore the local area. From relaxing cycles along Edinburgh's Union Canal to exploring the many paths and trails of the nearby Pentland Hills, our bike hire service will allow you to see it all. Our bicycle hire service is available year round at the following rates:
- 1 Day - £15
- 3 Days - £20
- 1 Week - £45
- 1 Month - £60
Bike Servicing
In addition to our bicycle hire services, our bike bothy offers servicing and repairs to ensure that your bike is in good working order to keep you on the move. It is good to have your bike serviced regularly to ensure that all components are working and safe. Our team are experts in bicycle repair and maintenance and will work with you to ensure that you are able to be back cycling in no time at all. Bicycle servicing and repairs start from £35 and our team will be happy to provide a full quote prior to your service.
