Our larger Sports Hall offers a fantastic venue for a range of sports and activities.
Welcome to Sports Hall 1
Sports Hall 1 is a state-of-the-art facility offering a wide range of amenities and equipment for various sports and fitness activities. This space can be booked as a whole for events or as segmented individual courts for Pay As You Play bookings.
Hall Specifications
The hall has a Juncker's sprung wooden flooring and spans a length of 54 metres and a width of 34 metre.
Sports Hall 1 can be divided into 3 sections for training purposes or can be kept as a full hall for events.
The hall can be used as a show court with the option of using 300 portable bleachers seats.
The Hall has the following court lines:
- Netball show court
- Handball show court
- Futsal show court
- 3 x handball/futsal training courts
- 3 x basketball training courts with additional moveable baskets
- 3 x netball training courts with sunken posts
- 2 x volleyball courts with sunken posts
- 6 x recreational badminton courts
Who uses this space
Our Amazing Multi-sport hall is a primary training facility for Oriam Partners such as Scottish Handball and Netball Scotland, Herriot-Watt University also uses this space for a variety of sports clubs.
This space is perfect for hosting recreational sport as well as competitions and tournaments.
