Start of Semester Events
As part of Start of Semester and Welcome Week we're delighted to be running a full calendar of events for students to access our facilities, and find out more about everything that Oriam and HWU Sports Union have to offer. From free gym trials and sports club tasters to the Watt Welcome Fair, there's plenty to see and do at Oriam.
Watt Welcome Fair
Watt Welcome Fair is where all clubs and societies will be available to engage with new and returning students, plus we'll have loads more going on!

HWU Sports Union are based within Oriam and are the home of student sport at Heriot-Watt University. With over 30 different clubs offering a range of sports activities from recreational fun to competitive matches in a safe and welcoming environment, HWU Sports Union offers the opportunity to join the WattFamily and make memories that last a lifetime. HWU Sports Union is open to all regardless of skill and experience and it all starts with an Oriam Student Membership.
