Graduations Week - Group Exercise Class Timetable

After two years of virtual graduations we are excited to host the Heriot-Watt Winter Graduations at Oriam this December. Our students have adapted and persevered through lockdowns, virtual lectures and online exams to reach this point and we look forward to celebrating with them. 
Graduations will be held at Oriam from the 3rd – 10th December in Sports Hall One. Access to the fitness studios and court sports such as badminton & basketball will be limited for that week. 

|STRICTLY COME DANCING 
24th November

The Heriot-Watt Sports Union are hosting their annual Strictly Come Dancing event on the 24th November! This year Strictly Come Dancing will be held at Liquid Rooms and tickets are still available for any members who are interested, it’s not just for students! All ticket sales go to Lothian Disability Sport.

|WALKING FOOTBALL FESTIVAL
21st November

Our Walking Football team are hosting a Walking Football Festival on Sunday 21st November, Raising funds and awareness for Age Scotland!

8 brave walking football members are attempting a marathon 8 hour match from 9am-5pm alongside a fun tournament and challenges throughout the day.

|ROYAL REGIMENT OF SCOTLAND BOXING EVENT
18th November

We are glad to welcome back the Royal Regiment of Scotland for a boxing event on Thursday 18th November. This is a private event held in Sports Hall One, Bistro and Walled Garden on Thursday evening. These areas will have limited access for members from Wednesday 17th – Friday 19th November.

The regimental mascot, Cpl Cruachan IV (a shetland pony) and a tank will be outside the Oriam entrance to welcome visitors on Thursday evening and a pipe band will play at 7:30pm before the evening event begins. 

The rest of our member facilities will be open as normal until 10pm.
