Your Hip and Knee Replacement Recovery Journey
Our Hip and Knee Replacement Recovery Package is designed to help support your recovery across a 16 week period. This will help to reduce pain and increase your range of movement following surgery. As part of the package you will receive the following support from our dedicated team of physiotherapists.
Days 7-10
x1 60 minute home visit from a physiotherapist for initial post-op consultancy.
Weeks 3-6
x4 in-clinic physiotherapy treatment sessions (including 2 sessions on Biodex system with continuous passive motion).
Home exercise programme begins.
Weeks 7-10
x1 Weekly hydrotherapy sessions to compliment ongoing rehab support programme.
Weeks 11-16
Weekly supervised gym rehabilitation sessions for progressive mobility and strength improvement.
