Transform in 8: Your Journey to a Stronger, Healthier You
At Oriam, we’re always looking for ways to empower our members to reach their health and fitness goals. That’s why we’re thrilled to introduce the Transform in 8 challenge—a free, 8-week programme designed to inspire, motivate, and support our community, staff, and students in making meaningful progress toward their fitness aspirations.
This challenge is more than just a programme; it’s an opportunity to join a movement, celebrate personal growth, and have a little fun along the way. So, what’s it all about? Let us break it down for you.
The Challenge
Participants will be part of one of two groups, depending on their individual goals:
- Body Fat % Loss Group – Perfect for those aiming to shed fat and improve their overall health.
- Muscle Mass Gain Group – Designed for individuals looking to build strength and increase muscle.
The challenge is completely free and open exclusively to Oriam members. However, spaces are limited to ensure that each participant receives the support and guidance they need.
How It Works
The journey begins with a Pre-Challenge Week. During this time, each participant will meet with one of our fitness instructors for a comprehensive body measurement session using our Tanita body analysis machine. These measurements will give participants a clear starting point and help us allocate them to the right group.
While the 8-week programme will not be personalised to everyone, it will be tailored specifically to the goals of their group—whether that’s reducing body fat or increasing muscle mass. Each programme is progressive and designed to keep participants challenged and motivated.
The programme includes:
- A structured workout plan aligned with your group’s goal.
- Suggested group exercise classes to keep things fun and engaging.
- Tips and tricks to stay motivated and on track.
The challenge officially kicks off the following Monday, and throughout the 8 weeks, our fitness instructors will be checking in with participants to offer encouragement, answer questions, and celebrate progress.
Once the 8 weeks are up, participants will return for another session with the Tanita machine during Post-Challenge Week to measure their results.
Celebrating Success
Of course, what’s a challenge without some exciting rewards? We’ll be crowning three winners from each group—1st, 2nd, and 3rd place—based on their progress. But don’t worry, we’ve created a fair system to ensure everyone has a chance, regardless of their starting point.
For the Body Fat % Loss Group, winners will be those who’ve achieved the greatest relative reductions in body fat percentage. For the Muscle Mass Gain Group, winners will be those who’ve achieved the most significant relative increases in muscle mass.
Prizes will be awarded to celebrate these incredible achievements, but we believe the greatest reward will be the transformation you see in yourself.
