Women in Sport

This September we are celebrating our women in sport at Oriam! We will be starting the month with Women in Squash Week from 16th September, followed by Scottish Women in Sport Week and Heriot-Watt Women in Sport Week! 

Women in Squash Week

16th - 22nd September 2024

Oriam is home to Scottish Squash and Heriot-Watt Squash Scholars, alongside our growing Squash Club Community, including an increasing number of women in squash, playing at all levels of competition. Check back here for more details as we talk to some of the players and coaches about their path into playing squash, their inspiration and their advice for future aspiring squash stars, especially with squash being added to the next Olympic Games in 2028.

Scottish Women in Sport Week

30th September- 4th October 2024

This is a great opportunity to celebrate some of our Women in Sport at Oriam, our Sports Partners and Heriot-Watt. Check back here for more details as we talk to some of our athletes, staff and coaches as we ask them about who led the way for them and how they can lead the way for more women in the future.

Women in Sport Week

7th - 11th October 2024

Celebrate all of the amazing women in sport at Heriot-Watt. We'll be partnering up with the Heriot-Watt Sports Union to highlight some of our athletes, volunteers and staff involved in sport at Heriot-Watt.
