The upcoming scheduled refurbishment of our three synthetic surfaces at Oriam including the 60x40 Academy Pitch, the Outdoor Synthetic and Indoor Synthetic, will commence from Monday 29th of July. It is expected that this work will be conducted over a period of three weeks for our Academy Synthetic Pitch and a period of six weeks for our Outdoor Synthetic Pitch – an on-time completion in six weeks is dependent on the weather conditions to install the carpet. To accommodate this work both facilities will close to all users during the maintenance period. This work is essential to ensure that we continue to deliver facilities of the highest standard and will see the installation of a brand-new high-quality surface in both facilities.  

Our Indoor Synthetic Pitch space will remain open and bookable for all user groups throughout this maintenance period. 7-a-side football in this space will remain bookable via the Oriam Website, App, Phone and at Oriam’s Main Reception. 

We will be carrying out further maintenance work on our Indoor Synthetic later in the year and will communicate the planned schedule for this nearer the time. This work will also see a complete resurfacing of the synthetic pitch and the installation of a new high-quality playing surface. 

We understand the volume of work this entails and the disruption to your bookings however hopefully you will join us in the excitement of the project and the opportunity this presents for Oriam, Scotland Sport's Performance Centre to have the best facilities.
