February Half-Term Huddle
Quick catch-up on Classes and Holiday Activities
The Edinburgh Schools half-term break is fast approaching! This year the Edinburgh schools have a week's break from 16th - 20th February. Our sports and Tennis classes will also be taking a break from 14th - 22nd February.
If you are looking for something fun to do with the kids during half-term we have you covered with £10 Racquet Sports from 14th - 22nd Feb. Choose from Badminton, Pickleball, Squash or Tennis. Enjoy a 50-minute booking for just £10, all you need to bring is clean indoor tennis shoes or trainers and comfortable clothes. We have all the other equipment available to hire at Reception. Bonus, tennis racquet hire is free with your tennis court booking!

Marathon Training Support
This year, the Edinburgh Marathon Festival is on the 23rd and 24th May. Whether you're training for the big 26.2 mile marathon or one of the shorter options, we can help you train like a pro.

New Hyrox Simulation
Have you signed up for the Glasgow Hyrox this March? How's training going?
You can test your progress right here at Oriam with our first ever Hyrox Simulation. Held in our Performance Gym on Saturday 14th February.
Heats are open to Doubles and Solo athletes.
Spaces are limited so book today! If you do miss out on a spot in our simulation don't panic, we also have our regular training sessions available every week so you can perfect your technique and build confidence before the big day.

Six Nations Kicks-off this month!
We're also on the countdown to the Rugby Six Nations. The Senior Men Kick-off their competition against Italy in Rome on the 7th February before facing England for the Calcutta Cup at Murrayfield on the 14th February! The women will be kicking off their six nations campaign in April. You can find all their fixtures and results here.

Winter Training Tips
We all know our motivations can fade when it is dark and cold outside, especially with the storms & cold conditions that we've weathered the past month. Our Fitness team have got your back to help keep you on track.
