Looking to get more active? Our Couch to 5K programme is designed to help you build confidence and fitness in a supportive environment – one step at a time.
Starting Monday 7th October, this 9-week programme will guide you from short walk-run sessions to completing a full 5K run with confidence. It’s suitable for all abilities, whether you’re completely new to running or looking for a structured way to get back into it.
Couch to 5K Session Details
- When? Tuesdays & Thursdays at 12:30pm
- Where? Meet at Oriam’s main reception
- Route? Trim Trail around our grounds
- Coaches? Tuesdays with Josh | Thursday coach TBC
Why Join Couch to 5K?

How It Works
You’ll run three times per week – two coached sessions at Oriam and one in your own time. Each week gradually increases the distance and time spent running, helping you progress safely and enjoyably.

After the programme, you can continue your journey with Oriam Parkrun – a weekly, friendly 5K through our grounds that’s a great way to stay active and connected.
