Following the announcement of the death of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, Oriam has taken the decision to postpone our scheduled Les Mills Launch that was due to take place on Saturday 17th September. When a new date is decided on, all those registered for the original date will automatically have their booking moved over.

Our Les Mills classes will still become part of the regular Oriam group exercise timetable from Monday 19th September and can be booked via the Oriam app via the ‘your classes/group activities’ tile.

Les Mills Launch Event

The world’s best music, best moves, and best instructors, right here on your doorstep. Les Mills fitness classes are returning to Oriam for the first time in two years, so get ready to mix up your workouts!

The new date for our Les Mills Launch Event is yet to be confirmed. At the Launch Event we will be showcasing taster sessions of our new Les Mills classes including the popular Body Pump, Grit, and Body Combat, along with other fun activities!

This is a FREE event, open to Oriam members and non-members. The whole family is welcome but please note, classes are for 16+ and must be booked. Fun drop-in activities will be available for under 16s.

New Music, new moves

Les Mills classes are all about pairing movements to the best inspirational and uplifting music. Get ready to move your body and learn new choreography that will get you sweating and burning calories. Our expert instructors are there to guide you through and keep you motivated, so you can be sure to leave the studio feeling great!


New classes are new for everyone, so don’t worry if it is your first time attending a Les Mills class! At Oriam, our group exercise classes are always open to all ability levels and our instructors are happy to provide modifications where needed. 


As we often hear here at Oriam, one of the best parts about going along to a group exercise class is the people! “Great atmosphere and instructors. I feel my technique, strength and fitness have massively improved and it has to been great to make new friends along the way” (Oriam Member). So come along and meet like minded people that will keep you motivated whilst most importantly having fun.


On the day, we will also be offering an exclusive membership discount for anyone interested in joining Oriam. Speak with our team to see around our state-of-the-art studios, gym facilities and more! Our health and fitness team will also be doing a fun competition with more details available at the event, so come along for your chance to win. 

Our Les Mills Offering


BODYPUMP™ is for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit – fast.

Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, BODYPUMP gives you a total body workout. It will burn up to 540 calories*. Instructors will coach you through scientifically proven moves and techniques pumping out encouragement, motivation and great music – helping you achieve much more than on your own! You’ll leave the class feeling challenged and motivated, ready to come back for more. 

BODYPUMP instructors provide options to suit everyone. It’s a good idea to start with really light weights or even just a bar. Start slowly with just one to two classes a week and build up from four or five tracks to a full class. You’ll find your fitness and strength improve over a number of sessions.

GRIT Athletic Is a 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) sports conditioning workout, designed to make you perform like an athlete. This workout often uses a step, bodyweight exercises and multi-dimensional sports conditioning training to increase your overall athletic performance: strength, agility, speed and power.  

GRIT Cardio Is a 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout that improves cardiovascular fitness, increases speed and maximizes calorie burn. This workout uses a variety of bodyweight exercises and provides the challenge and intensity you need to get results fast.

GRIT Strength Is a 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout, designed to improve strength, cardiovascular fitness and build lean muscle. This workout uses barbell, weight plate and bodyweight exercises to blast all major muscle groups.

BODYCOMBAT™ is a high-energy martial arts-inspired workout that is totally non-contact. No experience needed. Learn moves from Karate, Taekwondo, Boxing, Muay Thai, Capoeira and Kung Fu. Release stress, have a blast and feel like a champ. Bring your best fighter attitude and leave inhibitions at the door.
